THE school nativity play is often our very taste of stardom, a chance to tread the boards and experience the world of theatrics.
Were you a doe-eyed Mary, a faithful Joseph tentatively popping a protective arm around your wife’s shoulder or the earnest inn keeper helping them out in their time of need. Perhaps you were the golden-haired angel Gabriel or a lowly shepherd?
Here we look back at nativity plays of years gone by, staged at schools across Suffolk. Were you a part of one of these plays? Or did your school put on an alternative Christmas production?
