a festival celebrating the marvels of the common pea drew its biggest ever crowd of visitors for a special Olympic-themed event.
This year’s Peasenhall Pea Festival featured a number of games honouring one of the nation’s favourite foodstuffs. The event also included the World Pea Podding Championship, ten-pea bowling, and even a group belly dance.
Festival spokeswoman, Sally Tompkins, thanked Bespoke by the Crown at Woodbridge for providing the barbecue, and Stokes for donating the condiments.
