East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices will have 14 people raising money for them by running the London Marathon.
And among the dedicated group are two Suffolk men.
The families of Scott Mason and Paul Wombwell have been supported by the charity.
Mr Mason, from Stowmarket, is running in memory of son George, who died 10 years ago and received care at the EACH hospice.
He said: “By running the London Marathon in aid of EACH I’ll be giving something back to a fantastic charity that supported us when we really needed it.”
Mr Wombwell’s son Callum, who has 3C syndrome, has received care from EACH since the age of two.
He said: “EACH is a marvellous charity which offers respite for Callum but also support for the whole family.”
