Hundreds of people found out more about the health and care organisations operating across Suffolk during an awareness-raising day in Ipswich town centre today.
The My Life, My Health fair took place at the Cornhill all day and saw organisations including Live Well Suffolk, the Turning Point substance misuse service and Public Health discuss their work with the public.
The project has been organised by Ipswich Borough Council and the county council – and after the success of yesterday’s event, they hope a similar day will take place again.
James Young, assistant operations manager in community safety at the borough council, said: “It has gone really well. We have had lots of people in the town centre today who have been interested and stopping to have a look – for the agencies it has been really successful.”
