Young performers from a Suffolk primary school followed the yellow brick road towards a stage success.
Pupils at Melton Primary, near Woodbridge, performed their version of the classic Wizard of Oz tale to capacity audiences for two evenings, under the guidance of teachers Sue Todd and Janet Fendley.
The year five and six children got access to costumes from the Deben Players, as well as lighting school governor Martin Clark.
Headteacher Mark Girling said: It is so good to see children’s confidence grow when given the chance to show their acting talents and I am always very impressed with how they take to their roles.
“I am sure they will take these memories with them as they move onto high school in the next year or two.”
