POLICE are asking for the public’s help in tracing two men who are believed to have sold stolen jewellery.

Two men sold two gold rings at a Cash for Gold stall in the High Chelmer Shopping Centre, Chelmsford, at around 11.20am on August 8.

Officers have established the rings were stolen during a burglary at a property in Queensland Drive, Colchester, which happened between June 9 and 10.

The man, one of whom has distinctive tattoos covering his head, the other wearing a red T-shirt, then left in the direction of Chelmsford railway station.
