Gallery: Search for men believed to have sold stolen jewellery in Essex

POLICE are asking for the public’s help in tracing two men who are believed to have sold stolen jewellery.

Two men sold two gold rings at a Cash for Gold stall in the High Chelmer Shopping Centre, Chelmsford, at around 11.20am on August 8.

Officers have established the rings were stolen during a burglary at a property in Queensland Drive, Colchester, which happened between June 9 and 10.

The man, one of whom has distinctive tattoos covering his head, the other wearing a red T-shirt, then left in the direction of Chelmsford railway station.

Anyone who can help identify these men should call Pc Mark Peacock at Colchester police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
