SUFFOLK’S most iconic landmarks and scenes have been captured by iwitnesses wanting to share their images of their favourite places with our readers.

Working in partnership with public services provider Amey, the East Anglian Daily Times launched a competition at the start of the summer calling on readers to send us images of their favourite places in Suffolk.

The responses were as diverse as the county – deserted beaches, historic houses and colourful stained glass windows.

In fact, the captivating collection made it difficult for our judges Natalie Hoodless, Digital Publisher for Archant Suffolk, Dr Peter Funnell, President of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, and Graeme Cunningham, Principal Commercial Manager for Amey to whittle it down to a shortlist of six finalists – including photos from entrants in the under 13 category and the over 13 age group.

Now we need your help selecting the winning photo.

The photographer from each category whose entry gains the most votes will win 300 worth of photographic equipment vouchers and framed copies of their photographs. The runners up in each category will receive 50 in vouchers.

Plus everyone who casts their vote will be entered into a prize draw to win a 50 Marks & Spencers voucher.

Winning photos will be included in a photo book to be submitted to local archives as a record of Suffolk in 2012 and images will be used in a charity calendar produced by Amey in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Texts cost 0.50p plus your standard network charge. All votes will be counted after the closing date of September 15, 2012 and the winners notified by after this date.

The promoters decision is final. For full terms and conditions go to www.eadt.co.uk. Usual Archant promotion rules apply. Customer services: 0207 6335020.
