FIVE people - including a six-year-old girl - have been killed in a car crash on Merseyside.
She died along with three women, aged 71, 61 and 59, in a Vauxhall Corsa after it was involved in a crash with a Renault Megane in the Wirral yesterday.
The 73-year-old male driver of the Megane also died.
The accident took place in Spital Road, Poulton, shortly before noon.
It is understood one of the cars veered off the link road to the M53 motorway and hit a wall before it rebounded into the other car.
Four ambulances, two rapid response cars and a doctor were sent to the accident scene.
