A milk churn containing around £150 in church donations has been cut free from a gatepost and stolen.
St Peter’s Church in Great Livermere had used the churn, valued at £50, to collect its donations for more than 30 years.
It had been chained to a gatepost but was stolen by the thief sometime between 9.10am and 7.30pm on Friday, June 27.
