GREAT YARMOUTH: Detectives investigating the murder of a 22-year-old woman 30 years ago have arrested a man in Great Yarmouth.
Sally McGrath, was found dead in woods near Peterborough in March 1980 after vanishing in July 1979.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesman said the 53-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder in the Norfolk town on Friday afternoon and taken to Cambridgeshire for questioning.
The development follows the arrest of a 58-year-old man in Hampshire on Tuesday morning.
Officers recently reopened the case as part of cold case review into the killing of Miss McGrath and a series of rapes and attempted rapes in and around Peterborough in the 1970s.
