OFFICERS have thanked the public for their help in tracing a young boy who was seen wandering the streets of a Suffolk village.
The child, thought to be aged about five years old, was seen in Woodbridge Road, Grundisburgh, on Tuesday at 5.30am and was in a “distressed state”.
A Suffolk police spokeswoman said: “Police can confirm that following media coverage and enquiries conducted over the past few days, the boy has been identified and he is safe and well.”
