The six artists, who all live in Hackney Road, Melton, discovered their mutual interest in painting and other media and decided to get together to showcase their work.

The exhibition will be held across two adjacent studios in Hackney Road over this Bank Holiday weekend May 26 and May 27 and June 2 and June 3.

The six artists who will be exhibiting their work are Jackie Dommett, Heather Hodgson, Simon Kimmins, Nicola May, David Spiller and Geraldine Spiller.

Ms May said: “Hackney Road is home to a vibrant community of artists who have got together to present a diverse exhibition of fine art and mixed media.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to exhibit our art across two adjacent studio spaces showcasing the artists unique and diverse styles of working.”
