The big annual Christmas lighting-up ceremony in Hadleigh next month will have celebrity appeal.
The honours this year will go to actor and comedian Griff Rhys Jones.
The fun will start at 3pm in and around the Market Place with a traditional fairground, Santa and his reindeer, and musical entertainment including Christmas carols and a brass band. Seasonal refreshments will also be available.
The lights will be turned on at 5.30pm.
The event is on Sunday, December 1 and will run until 6pm.
