A 77-year-old woman was in hospital yesterday after a crash involving a van in Suffolk.
Firefighters cut free the woman from the wreckage of a collision involving a red Hyundai and an Iveco van at Evans Heath, Hadleigh.
Two fire engines were called to the scene shortly before 7.20pm. Crews used hydraulic equipment to remove the roof of the car before she was freed just before 8pm.
She suffered minor injuries and was taken to Ipswich Hospital, a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said.
He said no action was taken over the van driver.
