A young boy who was airlifted to hospital this morning is in a critical condition after having difficulty breathing.
An East of England Ambulance Service Trust land ambulance crew requested the assistance of the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) in Halesworth this morning, where a young boy was having difficulty breathing.
Captain Steve Norris flew Anglia One to the location in just 12 minutes, landing in a nearby field just after 10am.
Dr Daniel Kornhall and CCP Rod Wells anaesthetised the patient on scene before airlifting him, accompanied by his mother, to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
An EAAA spokesman said the boy was in a critical condition.
