Hans set for Eagles task

EASTBOURNE Eagles have opened talks with Grand Prix star Hans Andersen as they plan for next season's Elite League. Eagles have confirmed they will be part of a nine-track top flight which will run along very similar lines to the 2009 campaign.

Eagles have confirmed they will be part of a nine-track top flight which will run along very similar lines to the 2009 campaign.

They are likely to stage most meetings on Thursday nights and have called on co-promoters Trevor Geer and Mick Bellerby to bring in extra sponsorship.

Eagles were given clearance by Peterborough to talk to Andersen, a world class performer who was recently handed a wild card for the 2010 GP series.

Initial discussions have already taken place.

Eagles believe they can bring in both the stylish Dane and Lukas Dryml , who spent last term on loan at Arlington, in exchange for Lewis Bridger , who has agreed terms with the Panthers.
