A 78-year-old Suffolk man who was reported missing after failing to return from a walk has been found “safe and well”.
Stanley Freeman had been missing from his home in Lowestoft since 1.50pm today.
Officers had been making inquiries around the town, where they believed Mr Freeman to be.
However they issued an appeal for public help this afternoon amid growing concerns for Mr Freeman’s safety due to his age and medical history.
At 6.50pm, police announced Mr Freeman had been found “safe and well” and thanked the public for their support.
