A LARGE quantity of power tools were stolen from a garden shed in Haverhill at the weekend.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information about the incident, which happened between 9.30pm on Saturday, January 5 and 9.20am Sunday, January 6 at a house in Alderton Close, Haverhill.

Thieves entered the rear garden and broke into the shed. A search was made of the shed and various power tools including an air stapler, air nail gun, electric planer, MDS hand drill, jigsaw in a black case, router in a black case, portable Wrox drill and a compressor were stolen.

The items are heavy and a vehicle would have been required to take them away.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw a person or persons acting suspiciously in the area, knows the whereabouts of the items stolen, or has been offered them for sale.
