High winds prompt Operation Stack launch

FELIXSTOWE Port's traffic management system, Operation Stack, has been put into action because of high winds.

FELIXSTOWE Port's traffic management system, Operation Stack, has been put into action because of high winds.

The stacking of lorries on the A14 approaching the port began at 1.15pm today but it is not yet known how long Operation Stack will continue.

Suffolk Police are taking measures to ensure traffic problems are kept to a minimum.
