Nowton Park in Bury St Edmunds provided the setting for a game of ‘capture the flag’ for older children.
Held at the park last Wednesday, the youngsters were divided into two teams and had to invade each other’s bases and return back without being caught by members of the opposition. As well as making the flags, they also constructed their bases.
Park ranger Will Hardy said: “They really worked well together and came up with some great ideas. They played with a fantastic spirit as well.”
