THE body discovered off the coast of Gran Canaria has this afternoon been confirmed as that of Sarah Shields.
The 23-year-old was reported missing when she failed to return home from holiday on the island on Sunday.
Formal identification has today taken place.
Police officers are continuing to question her boyfriend Christopher Chittock at Ipswich police station after he was arrested on suspicion of her murder and perverting the course of justice.
