A charity campaigning for the preservation of Suffolk’s own unique breed of horses is organising a fundraising walk to support its work.
The Suffolk Punch Trust is inviting people to gather from 9am on Saturday at its visitor centre in Hollesley, near Woodbridge, before setting off on one of three routes of varying length and difficulty and returning for lunch at the cafe. The trust is hoping for dozens of supporters to attend the event, which will raise funds to help keep its horses “in the pinkest of condition”.
Business manager Sue van der Meulen said the walk offered “wonderful” views of the Suffolk coast and countryside. Call 01394 411327 for information.
