A GROUP of yobs stole a teenager’s mobile phone as he walked along Maidenhall Approach in Ipswich.
The theft happened at about 6pm on Wednesday April 17 and police are asking for any witnesses to get in touch.
The 16-year-old victim was walking along the street when he saw the group of three males in front of him, As he approached the school, one of the group asked him for the time and when he check his phone it was grabbed.
During a brief struggle the boy was assaulted and threatened and he lost grip on the phone.
Anyone who saw the incident or the group of males in Maidenhall Approach on Wednesday evening has been urged to contact police on 101.
