POLICE and an ambulance crew had to be called out this afternoon after a car left the road and hit a house.
The drama unfolded just after 4.20pm in Macaulay Road, on the Whitton Estate, in Ipswich.
The VW Golf was in a parking area close to a nearby Co-op store.
Police reported that the vehicle then came off the car park, went through a hedge and a fence before it ended up in the side of the house.
Nobody was reported to have been injured but the amublance service was called.
