IPSWICH: Firefighters battled the flames after a Chinese lantern set light to a tree tonight.
The conifer tree in Ashcroft Road, Ipswich, caught fire at around 7.45pm. One appliance from headquarters attended the blaze.
This comes just weeks after the fire service issued a warning against the use of Chinese lanterns, highlighting the risks they pose if they get out of control.
