TRAFFIC was delayed at rush hour after a smash on the A12 at Copdock.
A casualty was taken to hospital following a crash between a red Vauxhall Vectra and a black BMW around 5.55pm today.
The outside lane of the north-bound A12 at Copdock was blocked following the crash but re-opened later.
Fire crews from the service’s headquarters in Princes Street and one from Colchester Road in Ipswich were called to cut a person free from one of the cars.
