Two men have been charged with burglary following an incident at a property in Ipswich last week.
Paul Ely, 46, of Vernon Street and Julian Ellis, 47, of Ascot Drive, both from Ipswich, are due to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday 21 August. Ely was also charged with possessing a knife blade/ sharp pointed article in public.
Both were arrested shortly afterwards outside the property and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre. They were remanded in custody and appeared at Ipswich Magistrates Court on Saturday 11 August.
The charge relates to an incident which happened on Friday 10 August in Salisbury Road, where jewellery was stolen.
