Firefighters were this evening called to a house fire on the outskirts of Ipswich.
Three crews from the town were called to the scene, in Cauldwell Hall Road, at 5.50pm.
The blaze was restricted to the ground floor of the property and firefighters used breathing gear and a single hose to help extinguish the flames.
The fire was out by 6.20pm, when two crews were able to return to base, leaving one on scene to ensure the area was safe.
The road was blocked temporarily as firefighters attended the incident.
