Firefighters tackled a blaze involving a number of conifers.
A crew from Princes Street Fire station were alerted to the garden blaze in Aster Road, Ipswich, at 5.55pm.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said when they arrived on scene they discovered several conifers on fire.
Using two hose reel jets, they battled the flames.
They returned to their base by 6.45pm.
