Crews have extinguished a rubbish fire which is being treated as suspicious.
A 999 call was received just before 12.25am to the fire in Station Street, Ipswich.
Hose reels were used to control the fire which was out by about 12.35am.
Police believe the fire started deliberately and have began making enquiries.
Officers are also investigating a car fire in Ipswich which started at about 5.50pm yesterday.
Firefighters found that the car was “well alight” in Sandyhill Lane and had the blaze under control by 6.15pm.
