A MAN is in hospital today with facial injuries after being assaulted in an Ipswich street.
The attack happened in Clapgate Lane at about 9.10pm.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said the 23-year-old man was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment to facial injuries.
She said his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
