A 15-YEAR-OLD girl was approached by a man in Ipswich yesterday.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened in Radcliffe Drive between 6pm and 6.15pm.
The girl was walking along the road when a man approached her and began speaking to her.
He tried to hold her hand, but as the victim approached Bridgewater Road the man walked away.
He is described as a black man, early to mid-twenties, about 5ft 6ins and of a slim build. He had earphones in his ears and was wearing a green jumper, grey tracksuit bottoms and sandals.
Officers are asking for the man, anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who recognises the man described to contact Ipswich South West Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101 quoting IW/13/1388.
