A 34-year-old man who was arrested by police in relation to an incident at an Ipswich supermarket where a man followed a woman around the building and asked her “personal questions”, has been released on bail.
The incident happened at Sainsbury’s in Hadleigh Road between 10am and 11.45am on Monday, March 3.
It was reported that a man approached a woman with two children and then asked her personal questions.
He then followed her around the shop building and into the street before walking away.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said a 34-year-old man from Ipswich has been arrested on suspicion of committing a public order offence.
He has been released on police bail pending further inquiries. He is due to return to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre on May 15.
