A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing the death of Sutton woman Laureen Hammond by dangerous driving last night.
The Ipswich resident is currently in the town’s police station waiting to be questioned about the three-car crash which happened on the B1083 Bromeswell near Sutton Hoo at about 9.40pm.
Ms Hammond, 20, died at the scene of the collision.
As there was police involvement in the incident it has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).
