A paramedic has pulled a man to safety after he fell into a river earlier this morning.
The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) were alerted to Burrell Road at 7.59am.
A rapid response car and ambulance attended the scene.
EEAST spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “A man who we believed to be in his 50s was pulled to safety up the embankment by one of our paramedics to be assessed further and following this, he was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care with hypothermia.”
