A MAN has been remanded in custody after appearing in court in relation to a kidnapping.
Gibril Seray-Wurie, 30, of Lone Barn Court, Ipswich, has been charged with kidnap, robbery, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, burglary and assault.
He appeared before magistrates in Ipswich on yesterday where he was remanded in custody. He did not indicate a plea and will now appear at Ipswich Crown Court on March 26.
The charges relate to an incident on March 4. A man contacted police reporting he had been kidnapped from Bell Close, Ipswich. He was taken to a house where he was threatened and burnt.
