A MOTORCYCLIST has been injured in a collision with a car in Ipswich.
Police were called to the accident, which happened near the junction of Portman Road and Handford Road, just after 3.15pm today.
Two ambulances arrived at the scene shortly after. The rider of the red Suzuki motorbike is believed to have sustained a minor ankle injury and he was taken to hospital.
A second ambulance crew assessed the occupants of the silver Astra car which was also involved in the collision. It is not known if they were also taken to hospital.
The council was called in to clear the road of oil.
