FIREFIGHTERS were called to a home in Ipswich today to reports of the smell of smoke from a bathroom.
Two crews from Princes Street fire station were alerted and arrived on scene in Whitland Close shortly after 1.30am.
They discovered a small fire in the oven at the property and tackled the flames quickly.
The incident was under control and the crews were ventilating the property at around 1.46am.
