VISITORS to Sunday’s Indian Summer Mela in Ipswich will not miss out on Andy Murray’s first appearance in a Wimbledon final.
The Ipswich and Suffolk Indian Association event, in partnership with Ipswich Borough Council, is set to draw big crowds. But the borough council says a big screen will be set up in Christchurch Park.
A spokesman said: “The Mela is a popular event and we know that people won’t want to miss a single shot of the historic final.”
Murray faces six-time champion Roger Federer on Centre Court.
