Police are treating a fire to children’s play equipment as suspicious.
Fire control was called to Gippeswyk Park, in Campton Road, at about 1.40pm.
An appliance from Princes Street attended and used small gear to get the fire under control just after 2pm.
Crews were also called out to a car fire in Beccles earlier today.
The call was received just after 6.50am to Common Lane.
Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire by 7.15am.
