A road in Ipswich town centre was sealed off yesterday afternoon after a pedestrian was involved in a collision with a car.
Police cordoned off Upper Brook Street at the junction with Tacket Street following the accident which occurred shortly after 4pm.
Paramedics treated the injured man as he lay in the road outside Savers in Upper Brook Street.
After putting a neck support on the man he was lifted on a stretcher into an ambulance and taken to Ipswich Hospital.
A police spokesman at the scene said the man had not been seriously injured and the treatment he received was precautionary.
