Two Ipswich men charged with a total amount of 10 charges – including burglary and stealing a motor vehicle – are due to appear in court today.
The pair, in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of burglary following reports they were riding a motorbike at speed without crash helmets on Birkfield Drive at 8.30pm on Tuesday.
The bike left the scene when police officers arrived but was found abandoned shortly after.
A search of the area was made and two men were identified as being inside a nearby property. They were arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.
Paul Stevenson, a 26-year-old man of Ipswich, is charged with theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, attempted burglary, burglary, driving without insurance, driving whilst disqualified and handling stolen goods.
Daniel Pugh, a 22-year-old man of Spring Road, Ipswich, is charged with attempted burglary, burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.
The pair are due to appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court today.
