This firm favourite in the summer calendar has returned. On Wednesday 22nd, Peter Pan will be showing on the big screen with picnic lunches encouraged and fairground rides for the children.

1: CAMRA Beer Festival

Celebrate the 30th Beer Festival in style, with over 180 beers to try and buy.

A host of fun fairground rides and games for all the family on the Quay.

5: Ghost Walk

Join in if you dare! A guided walk looking into the darker side of Ipswich’s history.

6: Georgian Ipswich

Be transported back to Georgian times for one weekend only, with musket firing and a Smugglers ‘sing song’ amongst the activities.

7: WWII & 1940s Home Front

Taking a look back to the impact of World War II and the impact it had upon Ipswich’s Waterfront – there will be interactive activities and historical re-enactments happening on the Saturday and Sunday.

Puppet shows and pottery making will help to keep the little ones entertained.

A mixture of market stalls providing a range of crafts, gifts, books and vintage items will be stretching along the Waterfront.

For the first time ever, St Peter’s Street will be hosting a two-day market featuring an eclectic selection of vintage and craft stalls from local artisans.

Visit the Waterfront building to hear a series of ‘mini lectures’ from UCS lecturers.

12: Salsa Party

Round your evening off with a sizzling Salsa Party on Saturday night at DanceEast. A whole host of taster dance classes will be taking place throughout the course of the weekend.

Sunday sees the Old Gaffers taking to the water for a series of entertaining activities for the public to enjoy.
