A FURTHER 18 Zavvi shops across the country are to close with the loss of 353 jobs, administrators for the ailing entertainment store confirmed today.
However the Ipswich store, in Westgate Street, is not on the list to close.
But the chain's flagship store on Picadilly in the heart of London - which began life as the iconic Tower Records - is shutting with the loss of 110 jobs. A store in Cambridge will also shut.
The remaining 74 stores will continue to trade as attempts to find a buyer for the business continue.
Two Zavvi stores in Braintree closed earlier this month.
