IPSWICH: The famous spikey-haired pop duo Jedward will be performing in Ipswich this week.
The announcement follows the news that Edward damaged his knee ligaments after a fall while performing at the T4 On The Beach event on Sunday.
Online video of the fall shows Edward clearly in pain, but the two are determined to make their date in Ipswich.
Promoter of Friday’s event, David Mansfield said: “Edward’s fall obviously caused him a great deal of pain - early reports that he had broken a leg were thankfully unfounded.
“We wish him a speedy recovery and are delighted that he is flying into Ipswich on Friday to take part in the Big Friday event which is set to be great evening.”
