Firefighters have been at the scene of two road accidents rescuing people trapped in vehicles.
Crews were called to Coggeshall Road, Kelvedon, just before 9.20am, following an accident involving a single vehicle.
Cutting equipment was used to free a casualty by 10.15am who was then left in the care of medics called to the accident.
A 999 call was also received to Thorpe Road, Clacton, at around 10.40am, after an accident involving two vehicles.
One man was trapped and crews used cutting equipment to release the casualty by about 11.15am.
