FIRE crews spent more than an hour working to free a motorist trapped inside a car lying upside down in a ditch.
The accident happened in Debenham Road, Kenton, at just after 8am and involved one vehicle.
Fire engines from Debenham, Framlingham and Ipswich were sent to the scene along with the pump rescue tender from Stradbroke and emergency rescue tender from Princess Street.
At 8.20am the fire service reported that one person was trapped in the vehicle and was receiving first aid treatment from paramedics at the scene.
By 9.10am the female casualty had been released and was then taken to Ipswich Hospital with minor injuries.
