A 17-YEAR-OLD boy arrested in connection with the assault of three teenage boys in Kesgrave has had his bail cancelled, police said last night.

Detectives confirmed no further action would be taken against the teenager in relation to the incident and they have now issued this E-fit of the man they want to trace.

The first incident happened in the Pilboroughs Walk area of the town when a 17-year-old boy was approaching Ashdale Park, known as Blue Park, at around midnight on Monday April 17 to Tuesday April 18.

He became aware of a man walking towards him and as the man went past he threatened the teenager before dragging him through a gap in a hedge and assaulting him. The 17-year-old managed to get away.

The second incident occurred in the same location around 1am on Sunday June 25. A 15-year-old boy was walking home from a friend's house when a man stepped out in front of him, grabbed him and assaulted him.

The boy stumbled and fell, causing bruising to his hip, but then managed to escape.

The man is described as white, about 5ft 10ins tall, with a spotty complexion and stubble. He was wearing a dark hooded top, which had a red lining inside the hood.

The third incident happened in the early hours of Saturday July 1 when a 16-year-old boy was walking along the same path towards Twelve Acre Approach at about 12.45am.

A man appeared from one of the side roads and walked along in front of him. He then saw the man walk into a gap in the hedge.

As the 16-year-old approached, the man came up to him and grabbed him by the crotch. The man then made an indecent suggestion. The teenager managed to break free and ran off towards the Tesco supermarket.

The man was seen walking off in the direction of Fentons Way. He is described as white, with a big build, around 6ft tall and 20 to 30 years old. He had closely-shaven dark hair and spots around his chin and forehead.

He was wearing black trousers and a black hooded zip-up top with pockets on the front and red piping around the hood and down the sleeves.

He was carrying a large black sports bag - similar to a bag that cricket pads might be carried in - with a shoulder strap.

Detectives investigating the assaults would like to hear from anyone who may recognise the man in the E-fit, or may have any information about the man or the three incidents.

Anyone with any information should contact Dc Natasha Bailey at Woodbridge CID on 01473 613500 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
