Park, convicted of killing his wife three decades ago, was found this morning - his 66th birthday. His death was discovered at Garth Prison in Leyland, Lancashire.
Park was convicted in 2005 of killing his first wife Carol, whom he married in 1967.
Mrs Park was reported missing in 1976 but divers found her body bound and weighed down in Coniston Water, Cumbria, close to the Park family home on Barrow-in-Furness in 1997.
