Fire crews have saved a man stuck in a van which came off the road and into a tree.
Crews from Brandon, Mildenhall and Methwold were called to Station Road, Lakenheath, at about 4.40pm.
Brandon were first in attendance at 4.55pm and found a van on its side in a dry ditch, with the man still in the vehicle.
Firefighters stabilised the vehicle in order to assist the man from the vehicle.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 4.42pm to reports of a vehicle colliding with a tree. We attended to a male casualty who was taken to West Suffolk Hospital where their condition wasn’t thought to be life-threatening.”
